Kudus gives Ghana their most explosive individual quality, while Jordan Ayew still supplies goals and hard running in key moments. Partey then becomes the player who decides whether the team can control strong opponents rather than simply react to them.

This side has enough pace and athleticism to stress almost anybody in transition. The challenge is keeping the game under control when the emotional energy rises.

That is why the defensive spine matters. Ghana can be dangerous, but they need the structure behind the attack to stay firm enough for that danger to count.
